Most of our interior jobs are straightforward rooms that needed proper preparation rather than a difficult finish — kitchens that had years of grease behind the units, hallways with scuffed skirting from a decade of daily traffic, bedrooms where the previous colour just wasn't right. The photos here are what an ordinary, well-executed job looks like once the dust sheets come up.
Exterior jobs on Tyneside and further into Northumberland cover a wide range of substrates — render and pebbledash on coastal properties in Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, exposed brick and stone further inland, and timber joinery on period doors and windows. Every job pictured below had proper preparation first: cracks raked out, loose paint removed, and repairs made good before a coat went anywhere near the surface.
Commercial jobs are photographed less often than residential ones, simply because the work usually happens out of hours and the space is back in use the next morning — but shopfronts, offices and communal areas make up a steady part of what we do.
